INTRODUCTION OF IMCHF PAKISTAN
IMCHF (International Maternal and Child Health Foundation) is a non-profit organization that works for the welfare of the indigent. We crusade against the mighty monsters such as poverty, illiteracy and disability to secure a better tomorrow for those who are grappling with these monstrosities today.
With a renowned Pakistani Canadian Pediatrician Zubair Masood as its torchbearer, our organization is dedicated to heal and nurture the less fortunate. Our resolution is to help the people who are bereft of essential necessities of life, enabling them to become an integral part of the society.
Over the years, the horizon of our vision has expanded and we are now extending our utmost dedication to more social causes than what we set out to do in the beginning.
IMCHF administers several projects that focus on the facilitation and development of education and health of women and children in many poverty-stricken parts of the world. Be it opening schools or hospitals, setting up water pump plants or free medical camps, IMCHF is working round the clock to ensure the elevation of standard of living of those facing unfavorable circumstances at the moment.
While our passion to serve and the problems faced by the people we serve are immeasurable, our resources are not. There is always more that can be done for them. There are always more helping hands that we need.
IMCHF has Projects all over Pakistan, especially in Remote Areas of underserved community.
HISTORY OF IMCHF PAKISTAN
Deeply concerned at the plight of the poor witnessed by him in his humanitarian mission to Earthquake hit Haiti in 2010, Zubair Masood a Pakistani Canadian Pediatrician found himself invested in the desire to serve the poverty-stricken masses of the developing countries.
He focused specifically on women and children in view of their high mortality rate, His commitment was supported by his wife Fouzia and Friends, Dr Zia, Mr. Azam and Mr. Aqib, his desire became the vision for an organization that would go on to improve the lives of people in several countries and thus laid the Foundation of International Maternal and Child Health Foundation Canada (IMCHF Canada) on February, 12, 2012.
After successful launching in Canada, he set his eyes on Pakistan where a similar setup was established in Karachi at the end of 2012.
Initial founder in Pakistan were Ariff ul Islam, Pervez Masood, Aliya Masood, Nazimuddin, Late Mehmood Quraishi, Kishwar Saleem, Shireen Rehman, Shoaib Siddiqui, Mudassir Hussain Khan,Dr Mahrukh Qadri, Dr Iftikhar & Dr Shujauddin.
