Dr. Syed Muhammad Zubair Masood 

President / Chairman

Dr Zubair is the Founder & Chairman of IMCHF Canada. He is a Pediatrician & a humanitarian worker. He has worked in Haiti as Pediatrician & Project Manager and Laid the Foundation of one of the biggest Neonatal Unit in the Country. He has been involved in the development of hospitals and improvement of Health services in Haiti. He had also worked as Pediatrician and Senior Medical Officer with an ERU in a Field Hospital in Haiti after the Earthquake. Through his Leadership skill he will be able to develop and build momentum around an exciting vision & will be a leading player in the humanitarian sector.

Ariff Ul Islam

Vice President / Country Head

He is one of the founding members of IMCHF. He is also a member of Board of Directors (Technology). Mr. Aqib had begun to show an interest in computer programming at a very early age and started his professional career after completing his formal education in computer sciences. He has been associated with several well reputed software organizations; he has also been involved in many software development and automation projects in different sectors e.g. Aerospace, Business Process to health and education. His experience and expertise, in process automation and infatuate development, has brought drastic changes in his profession as an IT specialist.

He has devoted a part of his life for humanitarian work in the areas of health and education, Mr. Aqib has joined IMCHF with a mission to share his knowledge and professionalism , to help people to improve their lives by learning in remote areas where no infrastructure exits, no professionals are available but interactive computer software can be used for awareness and education.

S. M. Pervez Masood

General Secretary / Deputy Country Head

He is an active clinician, researcher, educator and administrator. He has been involved in IMCHF since its inception and is also a member of the Board of Directors (Mental Health & Research). Since his early adulthood, Dr. Choudhry has been involved in different capacities with numerous philanthropy organizations.Using his unique multifaceted expertise in clinical medicine, medical research, scientific training and health management, he will be able to develop and build momentum around the Mental health and research focus of IMCHF and will help in making this organization a leader in the humanitarian sector. Dr. Choudhry completed his medical studies from Sind Medical College. Further, he received his postgraduate training in Family medicine at different key medical health care facilities including, the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center. Dr. Choudhry moved to Canada in 2004, and was appointed as a Research Associate in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and McGill University. He has worked under the supervision of Dr. Natalie Grizenko and Ridha Joober, and conducted research in studying the pharmaco-genetic basis of Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD). During this mandate, Dr. Choudhry has received an MSc degree in Psychiatry from McGill University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sleep Medicine from Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences. More recently, he has completed PhD degree in Psychiatry Genetics. Dr. Choudhry’s unique multifaceted expertise enables him to work as a clinician scientist developing a more precise pharmaco-genetic profile of ADHD that may ultimately lead to the earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment of this debilitating mental disease.

Being a dynamically articulate Family Physician and a Mental Health specialist with the opportunity to guide and inspire professionals in the field of Mental Health and Research within IMCHF is an exciting prospect for Dr. Choudhry. He believes that he could contribute to the growth and success of this avant-garde organization. His diverse educational background, skills, and international experience can play a pivotal role in furthering the mental health and research mandate of IMCHF.

Mrs. Aliya Ariff

Joint Secretary / Director Education

She is one of the founding members & Member Board of Directors of the Organization. She has brought great motivation among Women. She has deacided to dedicate her whole life for IMCHF

Nazim Uddin

Treasurer / Director Finance

He is a well-known social worker, humanitarian, philanthropist and an expert realtor. He has joined IMCHF in the capacity of Director Public Relations – Quebec Unit and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the organization.

He has been involved in numerous communities, social and philanthropic activities including the establishment of the Pakistan Association of LaSalle-QC.
He understands the importance for newcomers to adopt the values of Québec and Canada as a whole. He has committed himself to helping immigrants to integrate these values so that they are recognized as providing a positive and dynamic contribution to the Canadian society as a whole. Mr. Mujtaba through his leadership has succeeded in convincing the community that mutual assistance depends, first and foremost, on unflagging teamwork geared toward a common goal—the well-being of one and all.

Beside the volunteer services for International Maternal &Child Health Foundation (IMCHF), Mr Mujtaba is also volunteering with other community originations in Canada. In recognition of his community services and progressive inspiration for social development He in 2013 has received “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II” Medal by the Governor General of Canada and same year the “Certificate of Reorganization for communities services (prix Homage Benevolat-Quebec)” by the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity Quebec. In 2011, for community services, the mayor of the Borough of LaSalle (Ville de Montreal) honored Mr. Mujtaba the “Moulin d’Or” award.

He joined IMCHF Pakistan in 2020 as an administrator later moving to become Director Administration and Media. Claiming a rich heritage of hailing from Abbottabad Public school, Abbottabad and Pakistan Air Force (PAF college, Sargodha) veteran, he is a seasoned advertising and marketing professional with diversified 30+ years experience of working with the most prestigious advertising agencies (Orient McCann Erickson, Synergy advertising) and brands with national and international presence.

Hassaan Ariff

Dr. Yahya Aamir

Executive Member / Director Health

He is a consultant psychiatrist and Director of Hayate nau… Institute for mental health also providing mental health services at community level in Orangi town. He is also conducting orientation programs for family physicians on basic psychiatric issues in order to enable them to deal with common psychiatric illnesses at primary level.

Arsheela Shamim

Executive Member / Director Special Education

Having completed two Master’s degrees and currently pursuing her third, she stands as a testament to academic rigor and professional excellence. Her first Master’s degree in Education was distinguished by a top-tier academic position, while her second, in Special Education, earned her a First Division from the University of Karachi. Currently, she is advancing through her third Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology, specializing in audiology, also from the University of Karachi.

Her credentials extend beyond national boundaries, holding the prestigious title of International Behavior Therapist (IBT), certified and licensed in the USA. Additionally, she is a licensed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in the USA. Further solidifying her multidisciplinary expertise, she has completed a Montessori Director course.

Her practical experience includes the completion of an internship at National Liaquat Hospital, solidifying her hands-on expertise in the medical and rehabilitative fields.

Her technical proficiency spans across various digital platforms, showcasing advanced skills in graphic design, video production, and adeptness in Microsoft Word and Excel. She is also a seasoned content writer, capable of delivering complex, high-quality written material.

She possesses approximately 2 years of experience at Bahria Special Children School, Karsaz, where she has likely gained valuable insights and honed her skills in working with children with special needs.

As the Director of ISERC (Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation Center) and Principal of an educational institute dedicated to special education, her leadership and expertise contribute significantly to the realm of education and therapeutic intervention.
